Why Families Choose Cedarview Diagnostics

Three Reasons We're Different

We designed every part of our process around what families and adults actually need: speed, comfort, and expertise. No student interns. No surprise bills. No 18-month waitlists.

Rapid Turnaround

Completed in just 3 to 4 weeks from intake submission. Most traditional providers require 12 to 18 months. We believe you deserve answers now, not next year.

Streamlined Hybrid Model

Only 1 single in-person visit to our Flemington, NJ office required. The other two sessions are conducted virtually from the comfort of your home or workplace.

Senior Provider Expertise

Every evaluation is conducted directly by Board-Certified PMHNPs—not student interns or testing technicians. You'll always work with a senior clinician.

Trusted by Families, Schools & Clinicians

Diagnostic Reports Built to Meet Real-World Standards

Our comprehensive clinical reports are structured to satisfy the documentation requirements of the institutions and systems you interact with daily. Every report includes detailed diagnostic conclusions, functional impact statements, and tailored recommendations.

School District IEPs & 504 Plans

Reports include the functional impact language and diagnostic specificity that school psychologists and IEP teams require for eligibility determinations and service planning.

University Accommodations

Disability services offices at colleges and universities accept our documentation for academic accommodations, housing supports, and testing modifications.

Workplace HR Supports

Our reports provide the clinical foundation employees need when requesting reasonable accommodations under the ADA through their employer's HR department.

Clinical Treatment Alignment

Referring clinicians, therapists, and psychiatrists receive a detailed report with diagnostic conclusions and actionable recommendations to guide ongoing care.

The Problem vs. The Cedarview Way

Healthcare Shouldn't Make You Wait Years for Answers

Traditional diagnostic pathways were not designed with families in mind. Long waitlists, unpredictable costs, and impersonal assessments create barriers when clarity is needed most. Here's how we've reimagined the experience.

Traditional Health Systems

  • 12 to 18-month waitlists — families wait over a year just for an initial appointment
  • $4,500 to $6,500+ out-of-pocket — costs vary wildly and are rarely disclosed upfront
  • Multiple stressful travel trips — in-person visits scattered across weeks or months
  • Evaluated by student interns or testing techs — not always by licensed, senior clinicians

Cedarview Diagnostics

  • 3 to 4-week typical turnaround — from intake to completed evaluation
  • $3,050 all-inclusive flat fee — HSA/FSA eligible, zero surprise bills
  • Convenient hybrid model — only 1 in-person visit required
  • 100% Board-Certified PMHNPs — senior psychiatric nurse practitioners conduct every evaluation

Clinical Rigor

Gold-Standard Testing, Reimagined for Real Life

We combine the two most recognized diagnostic instruments worldwide—the ADI-R (Autism Diagnostic Interview-Revised) and the ADOS-2 (Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition)—into a streamlined, family-friendly 3-phase journey. These tools are the international gold standard for ASD assessment, used by clinicians and researchers across the globe. Our hybrid model preserves their full clinical integrity while reducing the logistical burden on families.

1

Virtual Intake & ADI-R

90 Minutes | Telehealth

A deep-dive developmental interview exploring early childhood history, social communication patterns, and behavioral profiles. Adults may self-report independently or choose to invite a childhood collaborator (parent, sibling, or relative) to provide optimal early developmental context.

2

In-Person Assessment & ADOS-2

90 Minutes | Flemington, NJ

Direct observational testing conducted in our quiet, low-sensory clinical office. The ADOS-2 uses structured activities and social scenarios to observe communication, social interaction, and play or imaginative use of materials.

3

Results & Feedback Session

60 Minutes | Telehealth

We walk through your comprehensive written report, diagnostic conclusions, and a tailored action plan. This session takes place 1–2 weeks post-testing, giving our clinicians time for thorough scoring and report writing.
